André de Campos Silva nasceu em Lisboa, 1985. Licenciou-se em História pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa em 2007. Na mesma instituição concluiu em 2011 o mestrado em História Antiga com a tese «The Status of Free Will in Ancient Egypt’s Old and Middle Kingdoms according to the Instruction of Ptahhotep». Em 2019, com financiamento da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, e tendo o Centro de Estudos de História Religiosa (CEHR) como unidade de acolhimento, concluiu também na Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa o doutoramento em História e Cultura das Religiões com a tese «The Roles of God in the Ancient Egyptian Texts of the Middle and New Kingdoms». É investigador integrado do CEHR e investigador colaborador do Centro de História da Universidade de Lisboa. As suas áreas de interesse são: religião e literatura sapiencial egípcias, e história das religiões.

André de Campos Silva was born in Lisbon in 1985. In 2007 he obtained a degree in History from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. From the same institution he obtained in 2011 an M.A. in Ancient History with the thesis «The Status of Free Will in Ancient Egypt’s Old and Middle Kingdoms according to the Instruction of Ptahhotep». In 2019, with funding from the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia and having the Centre of Religious History Studies (CEHR) as host institution, he obtained from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon a PhD in History and Culture of Religions with the dissertation «The Roles of God in the Ancient Egyptian Texts of the Middle and New Kingdoms». He is an integrated researcher at CEHR, and an affiliated researcher at the Centre for History of the University of Lisbon. His research interests are: Egyptian religion and wisdom literature, and history of religions.
